Agency Component Law & Legal Definition

Pursuant to 21 CFR 3.2 [Title 21 -- Food and Drugs; Chapter I -- Food and Drug Administration, Department of Health and Human Services], agency component means “the Center for Biologics Evaluation and Research, the Center for Devices and Radiological Health, the Center for Drug Evaluation and Research, or alternative organizational component of the agency.”
