Air Commerce Law & Legal Definition

Air commerce is any foreign air commerce, interstate air commerce, transportation of mail by aircraft, operation of aircraft within the limits of a Federal airway. It also includes the operation of aircraft that directly affects, or may endanger safety in foreign or interstate air commerce. [49 USCS § 40102]
