Centers of Innovation [USIP] Law and Legal Definition
The Centers of Innovation is a part of the U.S. Institute of Peace (USIP) that focus on specialized sectors essential to peace building.
The functions of the Centers include;
a. conducting research, identifying best practices, and developing new peace building tools within their areas of expertise;
b. helping to define and shape their respective fields; and
c. working with USIP's other Centers to develop and implement integrated strategies for the Institute's work in zones of conflict.
