Claim and Delivery Law & Legal Definition
This refers to a legal proceeding brought by a person with a special interest in certain property which they claim has been wrongfully seized or detained by another. The complainant may seek an order to prevent the property from being destroyed, sold, or removed from the court's jurisdiction pending the final disposition of the matter.
