Double Distribution Fees (Entertainment Law) Law & Legal Definition
Double distribution fees with reference to entertainment law are referred to the distribution fees incurred for the distribution when sub-distributors are engaged. It occurs when a distributor uses a sub-distributor to sell a film. If sub distributors or multiple distributors are used, it will not be profitable to a filmmaker or producer of a film. Engaging sub distributors increases production expenditures.
