Heirs of the First or Second Degree Law & Legal Definition

Pursuant to 25 USCS § 2201 (5) [Title 25. Indians; Chapter 24. Indian Land Consolidation], the term heirs of the first or second degree means “parents, children, grandchildren, grandparents, brothers and sisters of a decedent.”
