Leases Addendum to Lease Law & Legal Definition
An addendum states additional terms,conditions and rules which are then incorporated into the lease. A breach of the lease addendum shall give each party all the rights contained in the addendum, as well as the rights in the lease. Addendums to a lease exist for a variety of matters. Some of the popular subject matters of a lease addendum include smoke-free provisions, crime free provisions, use and/or maintenance of a swimming pool, and provisions dealing with furnishings in the premises.
