Non Imputation Clause Law & Legal Definition
A non-imputation endorsement ensures that the company will not deny liability to the insured by reason of knowledge imputed to it through a partner, shareholder, or member by operation of law. It provides protection to an owner or lender for matters that would otherwise be excluded from coverage on the basis of imputed knowledge of the owner or lender.
