A simulated sale refers to the sale in which no price or other consideration is paid or intended to be paid. In a simulated sale there is no intent to actually transfer ownership. Simulated sales are normally done in an attempt to put property beyond the reach of creditors. Simulated sale is also known as a simulated transaction.
