Verbal Threshold Law & Legal Definition

Verbal threshold is a term used in insurance law, which refers to a limitation on coverage for personal injuries unless one of the following types of injury is sustained:

*Death

*Dismemberment

*Significant disfigurement or scarring

*Displaced fracture

*Loss of a fetus

*Permanent injury
