Aberemurder refers to a spontaneous and gratuitous murder. This is an obsolete term of old English Common law referring to a murder which was neither accidental, as a manslaughter, nor was it premeditated or accidental. In old English law, aberemurder is defined as an apparent, plain or downright murder. This is taken from the Latin word aberemurdrum.
