Absconding Debtor Law and Legal Definition
Absconding debtor means a person who absconds from creditors to avoid payment of debts. Any debtor who moves out of his/her state with an intention to avoid payment of money owed to his/her creditor is an absconding debtor. A debtor to become an absconding debtor must have intentionally concealed himself/herself from creditors with intent to frustrate the creditor’s just demands.
