Acceptability (Military) Law and Legal Definition
Acceptability in military law is a joint operation plan review criterion. Accountability decides whether a contemplated course of action is:
1. worth the cost in manpower, material, and time involved;
2. is consistent with the law of war; and
3. militarily and politically supportable.
