Acceptable Level of Academic Standing Law and Legal Definition
According to 38 CFR 21.5021 [Title 38 Pensions, Bonuses, and Veterans' Relief; Chapter I Department of Veterans Affairs; Part 21 Vocational Rehabilitation and Education; Subpart G Post-Vietnam Era Veterans' Educational Assistance under 38 U.S.C. Chapter 32], acceptable level of academic standing means the level at which a student retains eligibility to continue in attendance in school under the school's standards and practices in the course of study for which the scholarship was awarded.
