Accrual Date Law and Legal Definition
According to 33 CFR 25.105 (Title 33 - Navigation And Navigable Waters; Chapter I - Coast Guard, Department Of Homeland Security; Subchapter A “ General; Part 25 “ Claims; Subpart A “ General), Accrual Date is the day on which the alleged wrongful act or omission results in injury or damage for which a claim is made or when the claimant discovers, or in the exercise of reasonable diligence should have discovered, the alleged wrongful act or omission.
