Acquiescence in Custom Law and Legal Definition
Acquiescence in custom refers to the unprotesting and uniform assent to a custom by parties to a contract whose rights would naturally be affected by such custom. It will be for such a length of time that it is safe to say that the custom must have entered into the minds of the parties at the time of their negotiations or transactions and therefore formed a part thereof.
