Ad Colligendum Bona is a term used to refer to a court appointed person, for the purpose of collecting, inventorizing and preserving the assets of the deceased until another appropriate administrator can be found or appointed. Ad Colligendum Bona is engaged for a limited purpose when a person dies without a proper executor or administrator. S/he is an agent of the court and do not have full authority of an administrator.
