Additional Protocol Law and Legal Definition
Pursuant to 22 USCS § 8008 (1) [Title 22. Foreign Relations and Intercourse; Chapter 87. United States and India Nuclear Cooperation], the term Additional Protocol means “a protocol additional to a safeguards agreement with the IAEA, as negotiated between a country and the IAEA based on a Model Additional Protocol as set forth in IAEA information circular (INFCIRC) 540.”
