Adduce Law and Legal Definition
Adduce means to bring forward; to present; to offer; to introduce. [Tuttle v. Story County, 56 Iowa 316, 317 (Iowa 1881)].
In legal context it refers, to bring forward in argument or as evidence; to adduce reasons in support of a constitutional amendment.
To adduce evidence means to introduce evidence. The word has widely different meanings in connection with evidence adduced, for evidence offered is very different from evidence introduced. Introduced evidence is evidence received. Offered evidence may or may not be received.
