Adjudicative Officer [Education] Law and Legal Definition
According to 34 CFR 21.3 [Title 34 – Education; Subtitle A -- Office of the Secretary, Department of Education; Part 21 -- Equal Access to Justice; Subpart A – General], the term adjudicative officer means “the Administrative Law Judge, hearing examiner, or other deciding official who presided at the underlying adversary adjudication.”
