Administrative Board Law and Legal Definition
Administrative board is a public agency that holds hearings to decide on administrative and business policy. For instance, a parole board that holds informal hearings on the suitability of the prisoners for early release from prison is an administrative board. As opposed to the procedure followed by the court, an administrative board must take into account the public's interest as well as the prisoner's rights in the board hearings.
