Administrative Procedure Act Law and Legal Definition
The Administrative Procedure Act of 1946 (Act) is a U.S federal statute. The Act empowers the administrative agencies of the federal government to propose and regulate regulations. This Act also empowers the U.S Supreme Court to review the decisions of the agencies.
This Act applies to all federal executive departments and independent agencies.
