Admissibility of Unsigned Confessions Law and Legal Definition
Generally, a defendant's confession is made in writing and defendant signs it. However, such an action is not a necessary prerequisite to the admissibility of a confession at trial. A written confession is generally not rendered inadmissible if it is not signed.
