According to 34 CFR 106.2 (q) [Title 34 – Education; Subtitle B -- Regulations of the Offices of the Department of Education; Chapter I -- Office for Civil Rights, Department of Education; Part 106 -- Nondiscrimination on the Basis of Sex in Education Programs or Activities Receiving Federal Financial Assistance; Subpart A – Introduction], the term admission means “selection for part-time, full-time, special, associate, transfer, exchange, or any other enrollment, membership, or matriculation in or at an education program or activity operated by a recipient.”
