Admonitio Trina Law and Legal Definition
Admonitio trina is a Ltin term which means “triple warning.” It refers to a threefold warning given to a prisoner who is charged with a capital crime that refusal to answer questions about the offense would in itself be considered a capital crime punishable by death. Such warning is usually given before subjecting such prisoners to punishment.
