Advanced Nuclear Facility [Energy] Law and Legal Definition
According to 10 CFR 950.3 [Title 10 Energy; Chapter III Department of Energy; Part 950 Standby Support for Certain Nuclear Plant Delays; Subpart A General Provisions], Advanced Nuclear Facility means “any nuclear facility the reactor design for which is approved after December 31, 1993, by the Nuclear Regulatory Commission (and such design or a substantially similar design of comparable capacity was not approved on or before that date).”
