Affect Interstate And Foreign Commerce Law and Legal Definition
The term "affect interstate and foreign commerce" is defined as, “among other things, in such commerce, or to burden or obstruct such commerce or the free and orderly flow thereof; or to create or tend to create a surplus of any agricultural commodity which burdens or obstructs such commerce or the free and orderly flow thereof.” (7 USCS § 1301)
"Affecting commerce" means in commerce, or burdening or obstructing commerce or the free flow of commerce, or having led or tending to lead to a labor dispute burdening or obstructing commerce or the free flow of commerce. EEOC v. Rinella & Rinella, 401 F. Supp. 175 (N.D. Ill. 1975)
