Affordable Housing Law and Legal Definition
Pursuant to 25 USCS § 4103 (2) [Title 25. Indians; Chapter 43. Native American Housing Assistance and Self-Determination], the term affordable housing means “housing that complies with the requirements for affordable housing under title II [25 USCS §§ 4131 et seq.]. The term includes permanent housing for homeless persons who are persons with disabilities, transitional housing, and single room occupancy housing.”
