Age Prayer Law and Legal Definition
This is a practice followed in English law. When an action is brought against an infant with regard to property s/he has obtained by descent, the infant can pray quod loquela remaneat until s/he shall becomes of age. This is referred to as the infant’s age prayer. The proceedings can then be stayed accordingly. However, the infant can avail of this privilege only when s/he gets the land by descent.
