Aggregate Lifetime Limit Law and Legal Definition
Aggregate lifetime limit in the context of health care plan refers to the maximum amount of benefits that will be paid under a health insurance coverage or plan. An aggregate lifetime limit with respect to benefits under a group health plan or health insurance coverage offered in connection with a group health plan refers to the dollar limitation on the total amount that will be paid as benefits under such plan or health insurance coverage with respect to an individual or other coverage unit on a lifetime basis.
