Agreed Statement Law and Legal Definition
Agreed statement is an agreement between two parties to a law suit or an appeal of a judgment which is filed before a court. An agreed statement is made when the opposite parties to the suit or appeal arrive at an agreement on certain facts involved in the case. It must be signed by both the parties to the suit or appeal. The court uses the agreed statement wherever clarifications about the questions that involve facts that have been agreed by the parties are needed. The agreed statements are limited to cases involving legal interpretation.
