Agricultural Association Law and Legal Definition
Agricultural association refers to a formal organization of people or groups of people whose primary goal is generally to promote the various segments of the agricultural sector. The agro-associations are usually public relations organizations founded and funded by corporations that operate in the agro industry.
29 USCS § 1802, defines agricultural association as any nonprofit or cooperative association of farmers, growers, or ranchers, incorporated or qualified under applicable State law, which recruits, solicits, hires, employs, furnishes, or transports any migrant or seasonal agricultural worker.
