Agricultural Nonpoint Source Pollution Law and Legal Definition
According to 7 CFR 634.5 [Title 7—Agriculture; Subtitle B -- Regulations of the Department of Agriculture; Chapter VI -- Natural Resources Conservation Service, Department of Agriculture; Subchapter D -- Long Term Contracting; Part 634 -- Rural Clean Water Program Subpart A – General], agricultural nonpoint source pollution means “pollution originating from existing nonpoint sources that are (a) agriculturally related, including runoff from animal waste disposal areas and from land used for livestock and crop production, or (b) silviculturally related pollution.”
