Agricultural Stabilization and Conservation Service Law and Legal Definition
Agricultural Stabilization and Conservation Service (ASCS) is an agency of the United States Department of Agriculture. ASCS administers acreage allotment and marketing quota programs, agricultural conservation programs, and various USDA activities. ASCS also supervises Commodity Credit Corporation activities which relate to price support, storage, and disposal of surplus farm goods, and manages food-related defense activities.
