Aircraft Accident Law and Legal Definition
Aircraft Accident refers to the accident that occurs in the operation of aircraft. It takes place between the times a person boards the aircraft with the intention of flight and until that person is embarked.
An aircraft accident includes:
(1)death or serious injury as a result of being in or upon the aircraft or by direct contact with the aircraft or anything attached to it; and
(2) substantial damage to an aircraft.
