Alia Enormia Law and Legal Definition
Alia Enormia is a Latin term which means “other serious wrongs.” It refers to a general allegation of injuries made at the conclusion of the declaration by a plaintiff in a trespass action. Under the allegation of alia enormia, matters that are not specified in other parts of the declaration can be given in evidence for showing aggravation of damages. For example, in an action of trespass for breaking and entering a house, under the general allegation alia enormia, the plaintiff may give in evidence the debauching of his/her daughter, or the beating of his/her servants.
