Alpine Convention Law and Legal Definition
Alpine Convention is a convention on the protection of the Alps. In other words, Alpine Convention is an agreement between various countries for the protection and sustainable development of the Alpine Region. It came into force in 1995. The Alpine Convention is a framework convention to ensure the protection of the Alpine region and its development in a sustainable manner which will not lead to environmental deterioration.
