Amerciamenta Hominum Law and Legal Definition
Amerciamenta hominum refers to a right to amercements inflicted on the lord's men, and paid into royal coffers. It is an unusual franchise whereby a lord whose men had been amerced in the king's court could petition to have the amercements paid out of the exchequer to him.
