American Society of Appraisers [ASA] Law and Legal Definition
American Society of Appraisers or ASA is an association of appraisal professionals engaged in the appraisal of both real and personal property. ASA was founded in 1936. ASA is one of the eight major appraisal groups that founded The Appraisal Foundation. ASA represents appraisal review and management, valuers of business, gems and jewelry, machinery and technical specialties, personal property and real property.
