American Society of Home Inspectors [ASHI] Law and Legal Definition
American Society of Home Inspectors or ASHI is a professional trade organization of home inspectors in the U.S. and Canada. ASHI was constituted in 1976 as a not-for-profit organization. The mission of ASHI is to build public awareness of home inspection, to provide training and education in home inspections, and to enhance the technical and professional performance of home inspectors. Members must meet qualification requirements to join in ASHI. ASHI operates a ASHI Standards of Practice and Code of Ethics.
