Anadromous Species Law and Legal Definition
Pursuant to 16 USCS § 1802 (1), [Title 16. Conservation; Chapter 38. Fishery Conservation and Management; Generally] the term anadromous species means “species of fish which spawn in fresh or estuarine waters of the United States and which migrate to ocean waters.”
