Appropriations Law and Legal Definition
Appropriations means “appropriated amounts and includes, in appropriate context--
(A) funds;
(B) authority to make obligations by contract before appropriations; and
(C) other authority making amounts available for obligation or expenditure.”(31 USCS § 701)
