Approved Silver Scholar Position Law and Legal Definition
According to 42 USCS § 12511 (Title 42, The Public Health and Welfare; Chapter 129, National and Community Service; National and Community Service Grant Program; General Provisions), the term "approved silver scholar position" means “a position, in a program described in section 198C(a) [42 USCS § 12653c(a)], for which the Corporation has approved the provision of a silver scholarship educational award as one of the benefits to be provided for successful service in the position.”
