Approved Summer of Service Position Law and Legal Definition
According to 42 USCS § 12511 (Title 42, The Public Health and Welfare; Chapter 129, National and Community Service; National and Community Service Grant Program; General Provisions), the term "approved summer of service position" means “a position, in a program described in section 119(c)(8) [42 USCS § 12563(c)(8)], for which the Corporation has approved the provision of a summer of service educational award as one of the benefits to be provided for successful service in the position.”
