Armed Response Personnel [Energy] Law and Legal Definition
According to 10 CFR 73.2 [Title 10 – Energy; Chapter I -- Nuclear Regulatory Commission; Part 73 -- Physical Protection of Plants and Materials; General Provisions], armed response personnel means “persons, not necessarily uniformed, whose primary duty in the event of attempted theft of special nuclear material or radiological sabotage shall be to respond, armed and equipped, to prevent or delay such actions.”
