Associated Actors and Artists of America (AAAA) Law and Legal Definition
Associated Actors and Artistes of America (AAAA) is the primary association of performer's unions in the United States. This federation is also referred to as 4As. It is headed by a president. The organization is a member of the American Federation of Labor and Congress of Industrial Organization (AFL-CIO). The individual unions constituting AAAA are not members of (AFL-CIO). But in AFL-CIO elections the votes are split based on the interests of member unions.
The unions that are members of AAAA are: The Actors' Equity Association (AEA),The American Federation of Television and Radio Artists (AFTRA), The American Guild of Musical Artists (AGMA), The American Guild of Variety Artists (AGVA), The Hebrew Actors' Union (HAU), The Screen Actors Guild (SAG), and The Guild of Italian American Actors (GIAA)
