Associated Equipment Law and Legal Definition
According to 46 USCS § 2101(1) [Title 46. Shipping; Subtitle II. Vessels and Seamen; Part A. General Provisions; Chapter 21. General], the term associated equipment
(A) means
"(i) a system, accessory, component, or appurtenance of a recreational vessel; or
(ii) a marine safety article intended for use on board a recreational vessel; but
(B) does not include radio equipment."
