Associated Equipment (Gaming Law) Law and Legal Definition
Associated equipment is referred to any mechanical, electromechanical or electronic contrivance, component or machine used remotely or directly in connection with gaming. It includes linking devices which connect to progressive slot machines or slot machines, replacement parts, equipment which affects the proper reporting and counting of gross terminal revenue and gross table game revenue, computerized systems for controlling and monitoring slot machines or table games. Computerized systems of betting at a race book or sports pool are also associated equipment. It also includes the central control computer to which all slot machines communicate and devices for weighing or counting money.
