Associated Person of a Transfer Agent Law and Legal Definition
The term "associated person of a transfer agent" mean any person, except an employee whose functions are solely clerical or ministerial, directly engaged in the management, direction, supervision, or performance of any of the transfer agent's activities with respect to transfer agent functions, and any person directly or indirectly controlling such activities or controlled by the transfer agent in connection with such activities. [15 USCS § 78c].
