Association of Forensic Quality Assurance Managers [AFQAM] Law and Legal Definition
The Association of Forensic Quality Assurance Managers (AFQAM) is a non-profit organization that promotes standardized practices and professionalism in quality assurance management for the forensic community.
The AFQAM aims to:
a. support and enhance quality assurance practices to provide the criminal justice system with the highest quality of laboratory results and service;
b. strive to ensure that the criminal justice community receives forensic science services that meet the highest standards of quality; and
c. advocate forensic quality assurance standards.
